I’m a dog guy. I love dogs. I’ve had a lot of dogs in my life, ever since I was a kid. Here’s what I know tough: Not everyone is a dog lover. However, everyone can have a pet to journey through life with. Get a fish, cat, snail, skunk, bird, or even a cricket. We humans are funny: We love animals, and sometimes they love us too. I’ll be honest, some of the worst pain my heart has felt was when I lost a pet. I felt that way because the beast had worked it’s way into my heart, as a friend to do life with. Since I was a child, I dreamt of having a Husky. You know the dogs that look like a blue-eyed wolf. A few years back, my dream came true (and just at the right time in my life). He’s no longer around, and man, I miss my morning talks with that dog! I still smile every time I think about him. It’s work to have a pet, but honestly it’s work to have any kind of relationship. You get out of it what you put into it. For me, the time I’ve spent with these animals has been totally worth it. Get a pet, and smile.
